Building a precise and authoritative brand for Accredited Labs
Overview
Accredited Labs is setting new standards in the U.S.'s calibration industry. They needed a brand that speaks to their precision, authority, and ambitious vision of becoming international leaders in the field. The challenge was to translate that technical expertise into a visual identity that felt both trustworthy and approachable.
We had great fun creating this punchy, industrial brand with the AL team!
Our design thinking
We designed a logo that merges a checkmark with the letter “A” to represent precision and trust. It’s the perfect blend of authority and approachability, ensuring Accredited Labs stands out with confidence. The electric green accent adds a sharp edge, setting the brand apart in an otherwise understated industry.
To keep it versatile, we created a secondary logo—‘A-Labs’—to communicate speed and efficiency. The colour palette of White Slate, Charcoal Black, and Electric Green is bold yet professional, with stainless steel and pewter grey adding a sleek, sophisticated touch.Our custom icon set embraces sharp, geometric lines, reflecting the brand’s focus on precision. High-contrast, monochrome imagery adds intensity, using light and shadow to emphasise the strength and sophistication of their products.
For the website, we took inspiration from the visual shapes represented in calibration science, integrating graphic shapes that reflect the brand’s precision and technical expertise. These shapes are used throughout the site to enhance the user experience, creating a visually engaging and intuitive navigation system. Clean, structured layouts ensure users can easily explore and understand the brand’s offerings, while the smooth UI design maintains clarity and a sense of professional polish.

This launch marks the first time Accredited Labs is stepping forward as a brand collective. The result is a modern, confident brand identity, paired with a sleek digital presence that positions Accredited Labs as a forward-thinking leader in calibration, focused on precision and ready to grow across the U.S.A.
