Ascendant is a UK growth-marketing agency that specialises in helping tech startups boost their engagement, sales and users. We helped them to rebrand their proposition with a completely new visual direction. This included Logo, colour scheme, image style, type choices, iconography and layout guidance.
I really enjoyed this one as the client was really up for pushing the conventional!
Our design thinking
We wanted to bring energy, prestige, scale and of course growth into the brand mark. We landed on a combination of a crown and growth chart and used a sketched visual style to bring that startup energy. With the rest of the brand we wanted to repeat that rushing feel so used motifs of cut-out graphics, collage photography and hand-drawn iconography.
Finished product
We created a new brand for the Ascendant team in a few short weeks and delivered a comprehensive brand guideline and asset pack that reflected where they wanted to be as a company.
