Dashboard + UX design to make fixing your car easier than ordering pizza
Overview
CarAdvise is an American web platform for finding garages to service your car. Built for both motorists and garages alike to give the best deal and choice. We worked with them to develop their feature set across their web and app products.
“We really wanted to make taking your car to the garage an experience as easy as ordering from a grocery app. It was great fun trying to simplify the complexity of options for a 60-second booking experience.”
Our design thinking
We worked with their existing brand and style guide to create a new UI system and component library. We also rethought the app UX to mimic the patterns of on-demand grocery and takeaway apps. The mission for CarAdvise was to make the garage booking system as smooth and straightforward as ordering a pizza, and we helped them achieve this with better search, filter, map, and booking functionality.
Finished product
We helped CarAdvise for over six months to rapidly improve their app experience. We also improved their UI and visual aesthetics, with the result being a clean, clear flow with an advanced dashboard.
