Faes + Co is powering the next generation of financial services
Overview
Faes & Co is a fintech start-up that wants to build the modern version of a merchant bank. Their founder has a wealth of global experience in founding non-bank mortgage lending ventures, with locations in Santa Monica, London and Luxembourg.
Christian came to us to define the brand for his new company Faes+Co. He wanted a corporate yet modern logo that would be versatile enough to show next to partner logos. We had a great time working with Christian to develop this final brand.
Our design thinking
The client had a strong vision and contacted Shoreditch Design to help make it a reality. Our first step was to dive thoroughly into their existing research. Next, the team did an in-depth logo + wordmark exploration, coming up with various options, some sans serifed and straightforward and others with a more traditional feel you get from big players in Fintech.
The result is a logo that stands out from the rest, with a serifed font in italic complimented by a sharp ampersand made of two arrows. The bespoke wordmark and logo mark is clean and draws you in. The team worked to create a colour palette to compliment this new logo and came up with Faes Blue and supporting colours.
As a part of the new branding guide, we created a pitch deck template for their team so that their pitches and presentations are on point.
