Overview
Internal app used for calculating how many naan breads the user should order based on a viral quote from the British sitcom Peep show. The phrase “Four Naan, Jeremy? That’s insane!” was first heard in “Jeremy Makes it”, the second episode of the series, in which the main characters, Mark and Jeremy, go to an Indian restaurant.
Our design thinking
With Four Naan, we wanted to make a reference to this viral meme, giving users the possibility to calculate how many Naan breads they should order based on the number of people in the group, rice ordered, and how many hours ago they last ate. Using references to quotes used on the programme and character illustrations mixed with a simple and easy-to-use layout, we wanted to provide a handy solution to this naan ordering task.
Finished product
We created a simple online calculator to provide a solution to the problem that came up to the main characters of this series. Our app and web allows anyone to easily calculate an accurate number of Naan breads to order the next time they find themselves in this difficult task.
