North Equity is a venture equity firm that builds, cultivates and scales transformative digital media brandsWe were approached by them to design a pitchdeck for clients and companies they could potentially invest in.
Our design thinking
We began this process by researching their current look and feel through their social media and website since we weren't provided with style guidelines. Our goal was to adapt their concept and style throughout the pitch deck without looking too branded since it would be directed towards other companies that could potentially be part of their acquisitions.
Finished product
By using a limited colour palette, different backgrounds corresponding to each type of slide (text, quotes, graphs, etc.) and adding slight textures, we achieved the serious look and feel we were going for.However, to also make it look appealing and maintain the public’s interest, we adapted the image treatment they use on their website (duotone and with a dollar bill style) to the assets we created for them to appear throughout the presentation.
