Northwind is more than an aviation archive—it’s a celebration of craftsmanship, history, and storytelling. Their mission to capture the spirit of vintage aviation through iconic aircraft and curated tales inspired a digital design as timeless as the planes they fly.
Northwind needed a cohesive identity that would bridge their storytelling, journal, and aircraft showcase. The challenge was to craft a brand as bespoke as their vision and build a website that brought their stories to life.
Our design thinking
We began with the brand, designing a visual identity rooted in timeless elegance and subtle sophistication. This foundation carried through into the website, which we tailored to feel bespoke and engaging. From classic typography to refined colour palettes, every design decision was made to evoke a sense of history and craftsmanship.
The website’s clean architecture and bespoke details—like 3D imagery, subtle animations, and curated layouts—mirror the brand’s values. It serves as both a digital archive and a storytelling platform, ensuring every interaction feels purposeful and unique.
