Overview
OddsJam is an innovative solution designed by Stanford engineers to identify mathematically profitable betting opportunities, using the fastest real-time data to help users beat the books. With significant earnings on offer, OddsJam required a new brand and interface as sleek as the science behind it to attract new subscribers.
Our design thinking
Oddsjam’s current branding was dated, and as a premium service, achieving a cohesive and slick feel was essential to instil trust with new and existing users. Shoreditch Design sought to update and evolve Oddsjam with a consistent component library and clear and direct user flows.
Shoreditch Design wanted to integrate the fact that speed is vital in sports betting, so we sought to develop a design intuitive to new and current users within the betting space. We focused on innovation to assist OddJam with onboarding and education for their new users - so that there would be a higher retention rate past free trials. While the project was led by a small team, the Shoreditch team was often involved, offering fresh perspectives and UX insight to help simplify complex design problems.
Finished product
After thoroughly researching the sports betting user experience, SDS established a cohesive branding look with a new logo and brand book. We evolved the old designs to build a coherent component library and marketing assets. This has been such an incredible experience for both our team & Oddsjam, and we continue to have an ongoing relationship!
