Overview
Rule the Roost is a fun little app to help it’s users record the scores of games between friends and families. We designed and built it in record time to get it out during the heights of the pandemic.
Our design thinking
The concept for the app was formed in the heights of the pandemic, after finding that we were spending more and more time playing games with our housemates. As a competitive bunch, we were finding we couldn’t keep track of who was leading the pack as the weeks rolled into months. As a solution we designed Rule the Roost, as a super simple, fun and bubbly app to take scores between friends and families.
Finished product
We managed to design and build the app in under two months. Keeping the feature set ultra-refined and the UI system built on repeatable for variable components. The result is a super simple but slick app which was featured by The Apple App Store!
