Overview
Snowball is a new Canadian Venture Capitalist (or VC for short) founded in the deep north of Edmonton, Alberta. We were approached by the founders to create a unique brand for their latest venture. They already chose the name Snowball and a vision of how it could be a metaphor for accumulating wealth with their funds and investments. Shoreditch came in to visualise this concept, and over a short design sprint, we turned their ideas into reality.

Our design thinking
We were keen from the offset to visually integrate ideas of growth, accumulation, movement and the Snowball itself. The result is a dynamic snowflake mark created from arrows formed to look like a rolling movement. We paired this with a stripped-down colour palette to fit the corporate roots and a wordmark that emulated the tech companies the VC wanted to partner with.
Finished product
