New platform for military service men & women entering the civilian world
Overview
Civvy street is a new product that will help military service men and women coming out of the forces to adapt to civilian life. A mobile app proposition, its users, can find support networks, get career advice, browse jobs and track their lifestyle. We worked with the founders to develop the product and brand and create a marketing site and investment pitch deck to jumpstart their funding efforts.
"We wanted to avoid the cliches of designing for military usage and instead tried a fresh and minimal UI and aesthetic."
Our design thinking
We decided on a neutral base pallet and minimal UI aesthetic to allow for user customisation and for the content to bring interest instead. For each military branch, we devised a unique colour scheme initiated after signing up.
Finished product
We accelerated this early stage in a few short weeks, providing them with a new website, investment pitch deck, brand and UI aesthetic, and a product prototype to take to investors.
