Overview
Smart Protein initially came to us to redesign their eCommerce website, where users can buy high-quality fitness and workout products to promote a better, healthier and stronger lifestyle. Their product range includes a variety of Protein Powders, Pre/Post Workout Powders and diverse health and well-being supplements. All this while retaining a core protein range with an increased focus on function and benefits. They are dedicated to bringing its users high-quality wellness products at a competitive price.
Our design thinking
Smart Protein rebranded its product line, and the new gradients introduced were very appealing, which is why we’ve utilised them across the website in key areas to make it look cool, fun and engaging to users. Considering the target audience, along with a neutral base to let the gradients do the talking, we also introduced stats and testimonials to increase product credibility as well as motivational headlines. Smart Protein is interested in its users and wants to offer a seamless and trustworthy experience, so the introduction of a quiz, along with other great features, emphasises the idea of the brand wanting to personalise the journey of existing but also possible users so they achieve their goals as quickly and as efficiently as possible.
Finished product
Their goal is to include everyone in their market. However, their key target is females 25-45 with an interest in health, fitness and wellbeing from a lifestyle perspective as opposed to high-performance athletes. This means they want the brand to be aspirational but within reach of everyday consumers. Smart Protein’s goal with the platform was to be more accessible, trustworthy and engaging.
